Set up fund to promote rural children’ reading
In 2018, the charity event Magnolia Reading Program jointly launched by STVF and Chlitina has been widely recognized. 2019 marks the 25th STVF, the 30th anniversary of the Hope Project of China Youth Development Foundation, and the 10th anniversary of the joint Lighting Fund Program of Chlitina and China Youth Development Foundation. At such a historic moment, the three, bearing in mind their original aspiration for social welfare, team up to launch the "Lighting Fund" Reading Program, aiming to enable more rural children to read fine books and be skillful in reading, and then to broaden their view and help them establish correct values.
It is learnt that STVF this year has introduced various new initiatives and new activities to forge a more professional platform and promote the exchange of TV people at home and abroad.
